THE COACH
Kecia uses her position as a coach to influence young children to see themselves as student athletes. She creates safe spaces for children to cultivate literacy and athletic skills, and teamwork. Reading and discussion is an important part of each team practice to help children make connections with the characters, their teammates, and the world around them.
Acacia's Ark Incorporated
Kecia set up Acacia's Ark LLC in 2020, and incorporated it as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024 to partner with institutions and support initiatives both community-based and national that champion the health, development, and wellbeing of children to help end social disparities and deprivation.
Mission
We support the welfare of children by establishing seasonal activities and ongoing programs that promote literacy, create opportunities for physical fitness and health education, facilitate positive youth development, and inspire spiritual growth through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We see a world where children have faith, find hope, and know the love of Jesus Christ.
Treasures Cheer & Dance Squad
Treasures Cheer & Dance Squad teaches children in 2nd - 5th grades foundational skills for cheer and dance in an environment that supports their faith in Jesus, builds confidence in sport, and encourages love for reading and discussion.
A full season will support participants in basic conditioning, stances, positions, jumps, and motions for cheerleading and cover different genres of dance dependent on the specific interests and abilities of the participants.
Trailblazers Track Club
Trailblazers Track Club at Acacia’s Ark is a Christian youth team and literacy initiative to teach children in 2nd - 8th grades the fundamentals of track and field, how to apply their faith in Jesus Christ in sports, and prepare them to be student athletes.
